Whitstable is a mecca for people that love food. This beautiful seaside town has many independent restaurants and bars, most of which are within a 5-minute walk away from the cottage. However, if you prefer chilling at home, our well-stocked kitchen has fresh herbs, and an outdoor kitchen, making it a chef’s paradise.
Entertainment for all
We have a vintage record player and a fabulous retro vinyl record collection that guests are more than welcome to use, as well as digital speakers and a Jambox. On top of this, we have a cinema projector and screen in the summerhouse, where guests can watch films, documentaries, and sports on Sky TV or watch a film from the cottage’s extensive DVD film collection.
There is super fast WiFi throughout the cottage and summerhouse, and if you prefer your entertainment more low-fi, the cottage has a wide selection of books and games for you to use.
Dogs are welcome
We are very dog friendly. The cottage has wooden floorboards throughout and we have a handheld Dyson as well as a Henry for vacuuming up dog hair. We also supply a large dog basket, dog treats, and dog bowls, plus a doggie manual with essential information for dog owners, with recommendations on the best dog walks in the local area.
Our private garden is totally dog-proof - so no escapes here!
A good night’s sleep
Our three large double bedrooms all have vintage double beds with modern, well-sprung mattresses for a wonderful night’s sleep, and all our linen and towels are high-thread Egyptian cotton.
We provide a range of high-quality toiletries for guests to use, from Aesop body wash to relaxing scented candles.
